CTNext Partners

Valuable Catalysts in the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

CTNext Partners provides funding for programs designed to help entrepreneurs grow businesses, jobs, and revenues in Connecticut. These programs are typically created and managed by ecosystem support organizations. For example, reSET, a social impact incubator and accelerator in Hartford; UConn’s School of Engineering; Middlesex Country Chamber of Commerce; and NERAC, an accelerator and mentoring organization based in Tolland are examples of current CTNext Partners.

A sample of recent Partner programs includes:

  • CT Center for Advanced Technology: A program connecting entrepreneurs in tech industries to students in STEM disciplines seeking internships/work-based learning experiences
  • UConn School of Engineering: Early stage financing to student-led companies with promising technologies
  • MEDCO: Funding to establish a coworking space in downtown Meriden
