Designed to celebrate the advancements, culture, and individuals driving the tech community in Connecticut, the inaugural ConnectiTECH Awards will happen the first week of October, 2018. The CTC and friends will bring together budding entrepreneurs, high-powered CEOs, industry leaders, outsiders, and newcomers to network, share, and grow the tech community Connecticut deserves. Wine, dine, and join in the celebration of all things Connecticut tech with us at the ConnectiTECH Awards.
As part of an ongoing effort to bring ever-more companies into the growing Connecticut technology community, CTC has developed two new awards for the places and people making change: Coolest Tech Workspace and Most Disruptive Technology. With Coolest Tech Workspace, CTC hopes to underscore the culture and environment that Connecticut’s tech employers are offering their employees. These spaces can be quirky, unique, and designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and most importantly, the next generation of tech company employees. The workplaces can be traditional with a twist, offer crazy in-house perks (on-site brewery? in-house masseur? free meals? visiting petting zoo?), or have access to tech toys like no other, rivaling their Silicon Valley counterparts. If this sounds like your workplace, make sure you get to snapping a few shots of your space, and apply ASAP! Application Form – Applications close September 14.
Crafted to highlight old-school Yankee Ingenuity and the kind of genius that Connecticut still turns out consistently, the Most Disruptive Technology Award is reserved for those creators who embody the Nutmeg State spirit in the age of A.I., Uber, and mega moon-shots. If you’re a CT company or entrepreneur who has apple-cart-upsetting creations in the tech sector, this award should have your name on it! Application Form – Applications close September 7.
The ConnectiTECH Awards will also feature the presentation of the Marcum Tech Top 40. Now in it’s eleventh year, the Marcum Tech Top 40 celebrates the 40 fastest-growing tech companies in the state. Read about this year’s honorees here, and attend in person to see 2018’s overall winner!
